Grace McCallum laughs a lot more now.
Donned in a cozy red team fleece as a freshman for the 10-time National Champion Utah Red Rocks, I immediately noticed a new ease and confidence in her approach to gymnastics and life following Tokyo and in just the very short time she’s had to adjust to college life. And it’s only the beginning of limitless possibilities and opportunities she’ll have on and off the floor as a student athlete for a program dynasty defined by a tradition of excellence .

Dreams CAN come true!
"Words cannot even begin to express how proud I am of this young lady! Grace, you have taught me so much over the years and continue to amaze so many of the people in your life. To become an Olympian, it takes much more than exceptional talent. It starts with a dream and requires an unbelievable work ethic, holding yourself to the highest standards possible, a never give up attitude, a strong support system and perfect timing. To add to this challenge, you have to perform when it matters the most and you did just that! The fact that you have defied the odds and battled through so many challenges throughout the years to be make your dreams come a reality is beyond inspiring! One of my favorite parts about you earning this spot on the team to Tokyo, is that you 100% deserve it!! Name a quality any coach or parent values…you’ve got it! Kind, smart, humble, I could go on and on…but my point is that good things happen to good people! Grace keep being you, THE AMAZING GRACE!"

"Olympic Trials bound!! So proud of this girl! She is not where she wants to be yet, but one step closer. When she injured her hand at the end of January and had numerous set backs we didn’t know if trials would be in the cards or not. So I am beyond proud of this huge accomplishment for her and know she still has a lot more inside her to give. 7th all around and 3rd on beam is pretty impressive. Proud of you always, Grace. Love you!"

Cancelled due to COVID
Twin City Twister, Grace McCallum, was scheduled to represent the United States at the 2020 Gymnastics World Cup, at Arena Birmingham on March 28th, 2020.
“One to watch in the women’s event is sure to be Grace McCallum from the US. She’s been a key figure in the American team at each of the last two world championship, helping them secure gold at both. She’ll be aiming to top the podium, and to impress ahead of selection for the 2020 Olympics this Summer.” - British-Gymnastics.org.
STUTTGART, Germany, Oct. 8 -- In claiming their fifth consecutive World team title Tuesday afternoon, the American women continued a golden streak that dates back to 2011. And if the performance wasn’t entirely flawless, it was a testament to the team’s resilience that errors on uneven bars and balance beam didn’t derail Simone Biles, Jade Carey, Kara Eaker, Sunisa Lee and Grace McCallum from attaining their ultimate goal.
