June 18, 2023, Tulsa, OK

Coach Nick arrived, grocery shopped and settled in. Just after midnight, three tornadoes hit the Tulsa Metro. See the video of the house next to his AirBNB. That was a VERY close call. 

Over 200,000 people were out of power for days. Nick grocery shopped, again. Three days later, power was still not restored, so he moved to another location. 

Thankfully our athletes didn't arrive until after the damage was done. BUT, our twisters did some damage of their own!

Congratulations to our EIGHT athletes who qualified to Nationals and competed under some pretty unique circumstances. Nick said, "I was pleased with the performances from the team!" This is a trip everyone will remember!
